TUNISIA: World Championship U19 Latvia: Tunisia in Group A
Tunisia, which took second place in Kigali from Afrobasket October 8 to 17 will participate from June 30 to July 10, 2011 Championship World least 19 years in Latvia. The top three teams from each group will qualify for the second group phase, consisting of two groups of six to be held from 4-6 July. In the second group stage, each team will face three new teams in their group. The top four teams in this phase will qualify for the quarterfinals, which
are scheduled for Friday, July 8. The semifinals will be played Saturday, July 9 and concluding Sunday, July 10. All second group stage will take place at Riga Arena. The U.S. team will defend the gold gained in Auckland, New Zealand in 2009. They had beaten Greece in the finals, while Croatia had the better of Australia in the match for the bronze medal.
EZS-ESR tomorrow at Rades
The overall schedule has been amended to reflect the latest events and shutdown of all clubs. The championship will resume tomorrow rights Saturday, February 26 with the game of catch EZS-ESR, the play-off will begin March 16 and ends April 27, while the super play-off was announced May 7 (semifinals) . The championship final will place on 21 May.
